Based at the Gund Institute for Environment and Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources, University of Vermont, Lini is a low emissions development expert focused on identifying options for reducing the impacts of agricultural development and land use on the climate, while also improving rural livelihoods. She conducted field research primarily in Asia, especially Indonesian Borneo. Prior to joining CCAFS, she worked with the Ford Foundation and Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR). Lini holds a Ph.D. in Wildland Resource Science from the University of California.
