BIO

Deissy leads CCAFS in Latin America, where she works alongside local, national and regional partners to make agriculture more competitive and resilient to climate change. Her work includes scaling up climate-smart agriculture in Latin America. Before joining CCAFS, Deissy worked at Colombia’s National Planning Department on sectoral economic impacts of climate change in Colombia. She also worked at the National Administrative Department of Statistics. Deissy is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in geography at the University of Copenhagen.
