Augusto is a former climate negotiator and part of the team that developed the national REDD+ strategy for Peru. He currently leads the Sustainable Land Use Project funded by Germany’s International Climate Initiative which aims to develop context-specific, zero-deforestation business models that can be implemented at scale and contribute to efforts aimed at reducing forest loss and building peace in Colombia.
